Tucson’s Angel Charity For Children Is Still Making A Difference For Kids

Tucson has a non profit organization that is truly changing the lives of children. Angel Charity For Children was founded in 1982 and is an all-volunteer organization that works with donors in the community to help make a difference in the lives of children in Pima County. They have helped to fund more than 50 children’s organizations in the community. They have also helped to construct buildings, renovate, and retire the mortgages of many of the Charities that they have helped. As a matter of fact the first project that they ever took on was a massive one. They formed a group of 100 people to raise $205,000 in 1983 to retire the mortgage on The Ronald McDonald House. The House also partially remodeled and expanded that year as well. The most current donations in 2012 … Family Services will receive $613,754 to  build a homeless shelter for children. Tucson Nursery Schools will receive $241,441 to pay off it’s mortgage and create scholarships for those who need it. Angel Charity for Children will continue to make a difference and volunteers are always welcome.
